Biff Vol.3 is up for sale on ComiXology starting Today! = D

You can hit this [Link] to scoop a copy. I read through it and the fine folks over at ComiXology did yet another fantastic job making my comic look even better with their Panel View.

Not too shabby a way to start off the New Year, huh? = )

As mentioned on my Main account, I did a thing! Not quite Biff-related but still monster-filled (with a few Biff pics in there, too). = )

From the page:

Hello Boys and Ghouls! It's your old pal Prophet here bringing you a Spooky collection of penciled pics from Drawlloween 2015.

I can see it now... these thirty-one high-res traditionally drawn illustrations (with accompanying facts and info) are sure to Scare the Pants right off of you! Or this could be an elaborate ruse and they're just my usual pun-filled comedy stylings from my first successful attempt at one of these specialty theme months.

.

..

...

It's the later, but they are high-res versions of the pics previously seen throughout October 2015 on my Instagram and elsewhere. I also added a bit of info for each one like their proper titles, why I went the direction I did with them and (for a few) my usual brand of comedy. All this in a nifty Pay-What-You-Want package.

If you're a monster fan or one who likes knowing the Why's and How's behind the images, this book is for you. = )

Ha ha! It's done. It's posted for sale. I don't have to look through those strips again for another five or so years when I'm sure I'll think of some random reason to rescan them all again. = )

Vol.4 comes in at 39 total pages, with 48 strips covering the tail end of 2010 to mid-2012 ('cause 2011 was a TERRIBLE Time for getting things done). It has the cover as you see it and a reverse of that set-up for the 'Meet the Crew' page. I will post both those pics up to my Art Tumblr later so folks can see how I went about making them. Now for the most important info...

Where to Get It:
- From Me here @ The Biff Shop
- From Gumroad
- From DriveThru Comics
- From Lulu

I'm going to continue building that "Buffer" thingie folks keep on about and playing Destiny: The Taken King. Both are coming along surprisingly well.

As always, thank you all. From those who've been there since the first strip and have been supported me all these years to those just finding out about it now and (hopefully) diggin' what I'm doin', you folks rock harder than you could possibly fathom. = )

*Poof!*

Biff Vol.2 is live and ready to go via ComiXology Submit! = D

I'll add some proper linkage to the store later. For now, simply click the pic or hit this [Link] to check out the book on ComiXology.

They did a real bang up job on the panel view. It makes the strips flow well without killing the jokes or feeling like you're missing something by not seeing the full thing at once. A trick I never quite learned to pull off myself via Graphic.ly.

The ComiXology folks make me look good. = P

So yeah! Vol.2 is up at ComiXology. Snag a copy if you haven't yet (or wish to have a version through them) -> [Link]

For the strip's ninth anniversary, I decided to take the plunge and start up a Pateron page to give you - the readers - yet another option to help support the strip.

I love you folks. I really do. From those who've stuck with me all these years to the fresh readers just dropping by, you help keep me going. With this latest avenue, you can help me have less non-Biff work related downtime each month with the chance of allowing me to expand into other stories I couldn't risk doing otherwise.

And know this isn't a "Paywall". Anything I do that's been helped by this will become available to everyone once it's done. Think of it as a super powered "Donate" button. That and, for your troubles, you get be the first on your block to get this nifty 'Legions of Undead for Societal Respect' membership card. = )

If I were physically able to do backflips, I'd do them. = )

Here's the stats:
- It's still Vol.1. No changes have been made in its content save for it is High Res.
- It's priced at $1.99. Why a penny less than everywhere else? It's their pricing structure.
- It's rockin' their Guided View and they did a Fantastic job of it. Far better than what I could manage when I tried doing it myself via Graphic.ly's version of it.

Personally, I'm insanely happy about it. ComiXology is one of my all-time favorite digital shops. Along with my listings over at DriveThru Comics, I now have my silly vampire hanging out at the two most well-known digital comic shops. Now to figure out some way to get a physical version out the Brick & Mortar shops so I can take pictures of my randomness sitting next to 'Watchmen' and 'Bone'. = P

Anyhoo! If you're down for it, swing by & snag a copy for yourself. -> cmxl.gy/1tMfMtu

Now for something completely different...

This year's Halloween Midnight Movie Marathon is Tonight! Show starts around 11:30pm EST with the main event starting around Midnight. Tonight's films: 'Reefer Madness' & 'The Screaming Skull'!

Copy-Pasted from the Biff strip
- -- - -- - -- ~ -- - -- - -- -
First and foremost, let's get the Halloween Midnight Movie Marathon news out of the way. I'm going to run 'Reefer Madness' and 'The Screaming Skull'. I figure a film about drugs followed by a trippy horror flick works out pretty well. More details later as things shape up. = )

Now to the more important (and longer) topic - Patreon.

As you probably know, many an artist has sparked up Patreon campaigns as a way to help fund their long-term projects as of late. Like the classic Donate button rebooted, it has been allowing folks on both sides of the equation - readers and creators - a way to keep the things the love going without the hassle of trying to constantly sell folks on pricier items or the always undesired "I need to stop for a bit so I can make money" breaks. Trust me on that last one. -.-

Some might be wondering why the post? Why not simply start one and run with it. Well... I'm old school. I like knowing that the things I do actually bring in funds. It's also incredibly hard for me to do things that seem like I'm asking for something for nothing. Not that the comic is nothing, mind you. It is the longest project I've ever done and it's the only project folks continue to pay attention to; some even paying Actual Money to have products from. That's... outstanding to me. It's truly incredible and I'm beyond thankful for each and every one who swings by and reads my silly vampire strip.

That said... I still see Biff as something I'd do even if folks didn't come. Both a good and bad mindset to have. It's good in that I love making goofy strips about monster folks living their day-to-day lives. It's bad in that I more often than not feel kinda' terrible trying to monetize it. My hand-wringing over something as simple as the donate button I have o my page is damn near legendary. I had to put stuff on the other side of that button just so my mind would shut up about it. Oddly enough, Patreon comes along years later and really seems to be something that suits me and my situation.

Here's where you, the reader, come in. I'm looking for your input as you're the ones most affected. Would you like to see it as a monthly deal or a "Per Update"-type of deal? What kinds of offers would you like? Know that I'm still going to post the strip and I have no real intentions on putting any kind of comic content behind a pay wall. What I am looking to do is give folks a way to help support the this crazy mutual thing we dig and give me a chance to possibly pay some bills without having to take so many slow downs and breaks from the strip.

To add your input, just comment on this strip - No. 320: "Twice" - and I'll see it (as well as keep it all in one spot over here). Hope to get something good before I attempt to dive in.

'Till next time! = )

If you follow my Twitter/Tumblr/personal devArt page, you've probably seen my pic featuring a young Grim Reaper called 'Behold, A Pale Hobby Horse'. -> fav.me/d7rayxq

Well, I decided to use it as a test vehicle for RedBubble.

Seeing as it's monster themed and really kinda' fits in with the stuff I do with Biff, I figured I'd give folks here a heads up. I tweaked the design a bit with a bit of a white outline to it so it'll pop on products a bit.

So... Yeah! You can now get shirts, stickers and a pillow ('cause I like them) sporting my latest design here -> [ShirtTastic!]

If it works out well enough, I'll see what else I have that might work out there. = )

- Mobile Crypt has Finally Updated!
After some time fiddling with graphics and playing with all the random new things I decided not to use, I finally updated the Mobile Crypt. It now has new links, some fancy new in-app loading graphics (I hope) and an updated icon or two. Wanted to do more but I couldn't seem to find my nicer icon sets to use.

As always, you can check it out here. -> [Link]

- Eight new Minecraft Skins!
I did a Series 01 set a while back as a vote incentive over on TWC. It got a great response so I decided to do the same with Series 02. This time, it's Red and Vinnie who get the Minecraft treatment. Like the original one, I did two skins for each - a full color and a "Comic Styled" monochrome. The kicker is I also did their Were- forms. You can now troop around Minecraft as Werewolf Red or Werefox Vincent. = )

For folks who have dropped by the Store page on the SillyVamp site, you know that I've been had a placeholder link since Vol. 3 came out to the Graphicly page. Well... that's going away soon.

Actually, the other links to Graphicly are going away, too. They were bought by another online publisher and are closing their doors soon. Bummed as I am to lose another possible way for folks to dig my stuff, they at least gave some warning before they close up shop and I'm currently downloading the Biff books from them as I type. I'm curious as to what I'll get - the PDFs I sent up or the reformatted files I built through their service.

Sometime tonight (06.01.14), I will do some HTML magic and make those links disappear.

What does that mean for you folks? Well... depending on what comes down the pipe from Graphicly, I might end up with another place to load those books. This also means that these are the only places (beside myself) you can snag a copy the Biff books while tossing me some coin to keep the lights on. = )
- Drivethru Comics: Great service that's been around for a very long time. Good folks who I hit up every so often for indie comics and RPGs. = )
- Gumroad: Has all three Biff books and it's the only place you can buy a copy of my Ghouls'R Gals monster girl artbook.
- Lulu: That age old publishing place online.

Now it's back to work. I recently posted my 300th strip and watched as my system's hard drive start to fail at a time when I really only had cash enough to either replace it or hit up a new local comic convention. Needless to say, I missed the convention but I just got all my stuff transferred over to a new non-dying hard drive with no loss of info! = D

'Till next time!

Hell Yeah, it is! = D

The editing took a little longer than expected this time around but I got it done and up to today - the start of Year Eight for this silly vampire comic of mine. = )

The book - Biff the Vampire Volume Three: La Gata - is now available at a myriad of places. All of which are linked to from the Store page on the Biff site. What will you get in this one?
- Vol. 3 covers the bulk of 2010 - Story strips 109 through 157.
- The cover sports the strip's resident catgirl, Vida de Santos. She gets a spotlight in this one.
- As with the others, there are a few new and rarely seen pics throughout the book.

If you're looking for a way to read the comic in chunks or simply dig quality PDFs collections, this book (and past volumes) is for your. Let's be real now... I love donations and all but, if you wish to toss some cash my way while getting something better than a wallpaper in return, this is the greatest option.

Seeing as this is going up on the dawn of Year Eight (if my math is correct*), I'd like to take a sec and thank all of you. From the folks here from Day One to the folks just popping in right now, this wild trip wouldn't have been nearly as fun without you. Thanks for your support and for putting up with me in varying degrees since 2006. = )

I'll pop the Off-Sides announcement up on Saturday. For now, it's time for this cartoonist to crash out.

'Till next time! = )

- Although it's not exactly Biff related, it is Biff Adjacent... I made a Monster Girl book! "Ghouls'R Gals - A 'Monster Girl' Collection" has a bunch of the little monster girl pics I've been doing for the past what... two years with a bunch of trivia, monster facts and other goodies. Bonus: It's a Pay-What-You-Want style item starting at $1. -> gumroad.com/l/VnpH
- I've finally managed to get something close to a stable 'Net connection so I'm going to try for some broadcasts in February. No promises, though...

How's That for an update, huh? = P

I'm late on it but I hope everyone had a decent New Year's. My plans for this year are to try for some cons and keep on keepin' on with the strip. Not too crazy, I know, but it's doable if I keep at it.

After a far longer break than I expected, Biff has returned! = D

Biff is back with a new bit of story and at two strips a week. I'm getting back into the swing of things by building that most mythical of creatures - A Strip Buffer. I figure that, with my current momentum, I can knock out about two months worth of strips per month. Even if I can't keep this pace up indefinitely, it still puts me one month ahead of schedule if I can make it to September. That's way more wiggle room than I've had in a very long time.

Ideally, I'd love to have a buffer size to cover straight on out through October but I fear my writing will dictate that more so than my ability to bang out comics. = P

That's all for this quickie update! As per usual, strip goes live at The Biff Site first and hits here the day before the next update. Though... if you Really want your SillyVamp fix early... I hear the newsletter is the way to go.

'Till next time! = D

It's the humidity. o.@

Normally, this is either a bad joke or someone trying to be helpful. This time it really is the humidity!

It has been so humid in my house these last few nights that the paper I draw on has become... less than able to withstand the beating I put on it when I'm drawing the strip. Add to that some joker, I don't know who, posted the strips out of order over here. Needless-to-say, work has been slightly slower than usual.

Fear Not, Silly Vamps! Things should get better soon. This recent bit of story is finished, I'm working on the next bit of story (when things dry out a bit) AND ConnectiCon is next week - 07.11 to 07.14 - and I'm Really hoping to hit that up for a day (or two). Having missed WWPhilly due to money issues*, this will be the only time I'll be out and about on as close to a vacation as I get. Won't have a table but I will be wandering the grounds... collecting the souls of fallen webcomics and feasting upon the cheapest Pocky I can find. You know... the usual. = )

I hope folks had a happy July 4th/Thursday yesterday. I'm going to pop down to my garage to dig out the dehumidifier. See if that can fix this sticky situation.

'Till next time!

Seeing as it's been what feels like ages since i last did one, it's kinda' sorta' movie marathon time.

Normally, I'd just run some shorts or a couple of cartoons before I do some old horror flicks but I think we've all seen enough of that this week in reality to last for a while.

Starting a little after 11:30pm will be a couple of shorts ('This is Coffee' and 'Your Name Here'). Then you'll get around an hour of cartoons -> A few PD Merrie Melodies, Mickey Mouse in 'The Mad Doctor', and a couple of Popeye shorts. After a brief intermission, I'm running my favorite nutty anti-drug film 'Reefer Madness'. = )

Keep your eyes peeled for the stream or just drop by the HoA Presents! @ Livestream page around 11:30pm tonight.

Drop by and kill some time. = )

That's right, folks! = D

It's been two years (Two Years!) since the first one. After too many stops and starts, the second collected edition of Biff strips - Videojugador - is online and ready to be yours for the sweet sweet price of just Two Dollars!

Why not more? It worked the first time. Why mess with success, right? o.O

Drop by the Store page, click the handy dandy PayPal link and enjoy a second helping of silly vampire goodness. I've also made it available at Graphicly and Lulu, too, as I know not everyone can or wants to go through PayPal. Trust me, buying directly from me means you get some extra goodness. It's not much but it's a token of my appreciation for those willing to loose some cash and help support this little strip of mine.
